Tell Me Your Dreams

I've finished reading Sidney Sheldon's Tell Me Your Dreams yesterday. Would you believe it, it took me 4 days to finish a single book! It's a shame because I used to finish a book in just one sitting, and that's about 4-5 hours max. Tell Me Your Dreams is about a young beautiful woman who's suspected of committing a series of brutal murders. The police made an arrest that led to one of the most bizarre trials of the century. Bizarre because the suspect of the murders is not aware that she did all those brutal crimes, she was suffering from MPD or Multiple Personality Disorder. She has two alter egos in her, and the dominant one is the culprit of all the crimes where she, rather her body was involved. I wouldn't dig deep into the book because maybe some of you haven't read the book yet and would want to read it.

I've only read two of Sheldon's book and my favorite will always be If Tomorrow Comes. I just love Tracy Whitney, she is superb and ingenious! If you haven't read any of Sheldon's books, I suggest you read If Tomorrow Comes first.

On another note, when I was on my way to work last night I saw an accident. It was really heartbreaking! A car and a motorcycle collided along Ortigas Extension. I was so frightened when I saw what happened, the man/woman riding with the motorcycle driver fell off the motorcycle and almost hit his/her head on the concrete barrier. He/she wasn't able to get up, he was helped by the people near the accident scene. The car who crashed into the victims ran away. Unfortunately, nobody got the chance to get the plate number of the car who hit the motorcycle. I saw the car, it was a white corolla, I also saw the plate number but because of the accident I totally blanked out, and I can't remember the plate number of the car who just hit and ran. I feel so sorry for the victims, I wish I've put enough attention on the car's plate, I should have been able to help track the driver who got away from the accident leaving the victims crushed and wounded physically and emotionally.

Before I saw the accident, I was cheerful, my heart was filled with joy because of some reasons but after the accident I forgot all the happiness in me, I don't even remember why I was even happy on the first place. I really agree on what Maria wrote on her diary: "Life moves so fast; It rushes you from heaven to hell in a matter of seconds." --Maria, Eleven Minutes by Paulo Coelho. You really can't control nor predict what will happen in your life, one minute you're happy the other you're sad. One day you're living, the next you're already laying on a morgue bed... cold and lifeless... (God forbid) So, it only led me to one conclusion, dance like no one's watching, sing your heart out! We need to live each day like our last, coz we'll never know what the big guy up there has cooked up for us.

Enjoy life! Ciao.
